My name is Steph Gregory and I am a qualified primary school teacher with 7 years’ experience teaching. I am based in Langwarrin and I work in a local Primary School. Over the last 7 years I have worked in the Junior School and have taught Prep, Grade One and Grade Three.

While I love my job and enjoy working in a classroom environment I also love getting the chance to work one on one with kids. Not all children are the same, and not all children can learn in the same way or at exactly the same pace. As a teacher it is so important to understand the differences in learning styles and to identify the most effective way of connecting with each individual student.

Potential Private Tutoring is for children about to embark on the beginning of their schooling career or for children who are struggling in the classroom and need some help filling the gaps in their learning. Allowing them to work at their level and to learn in a comfortable and supportive environment where they can confidently ask questions, practice new skills, deepen their understanding and achieve success.

I think it is so important for children to feel confident in themselves and no matter where they are in their learning journey, sometimes all they need is a little extra support and encouragement. A positive outlook, a persistent attitude and an enthusiasm to learn can make such a huge difference!

Pre-Prep Program

This is a literacy based program designed for 4-5 year old children that helps to create a smooth transition to school. It is focussed on developing early literacy skills that are essential for reading and writing. This is a great way for young children to develop confidence and positive attitudes to learning. This program is tailored to suit the needs of each child and is completely flexible. You may wish for your child to participate in the pre-prep program for a few months leading up to the beginning of school. Alternatively your child may benefit from continued tuition throughout their first year of schooling to help consolidate their learning and to further support the work they are doing in the classroom.

* Standard 12 Week Program (1 x 45 min session per week) - $50 per week

* Accelerated 12 Week Program (2 x 45 min sessions per week) - $95 per week

* Individual sessions - $55 per session

Early Primary Tuition

Early Primary Tuition is based on the needs of each child. An initial assessment will help me to identify your child's strengths and weaknesses and will help me to create a specific program that is targeted at addressing any 'learning gaps' your child may have.

* 45 minute sessions: $55

*60 minute sessions: $65

Buy a 10 session package and get one session free.

I operate from my home office in Langwarrin, however I am willing to travel in some circumstances. Travel costs can be negotiated.
